Dear Maritime Data Platform User,
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide quality data and superior products, the Spire Maritime Team have scheduled a maintenance cycle for the Geospatial Web Services (GWS) platform ; Latest Vessel Information (LVI) layer only for Tuesday, 03 September 2024.
Maintenance Details: Spire Geospatial Web Services Platform Scheduled Maintenance – includes ShipView
Start: Tuesday, 03 September 2024 13:00 UTC End: Tuesday, 03 September 2024 19:00 UTC
Please note: The full duration of the maintenance window will be Six (6) hours.
While the maintenance process is underway, the GWS platform should remain online and responsive throughout. However, the Latest Vessel Information (LVI) layer will be subject to interruptions in new positional updates during this process. This includes ShipView LVI as well. Historical Vessel Points (HVP) and Historical Vessel Tracks (HVT) are not affected by this process and should function as normal.
The majority of the LVI update interruptions will occur between 13:00UTC – 16:00UTC. However, there is possibility of an impact until the work concludes at 19:00 UTC.
All account types will remain accessible and operational during this maintenance process.
All reasonable precautions have been taken to prevent additional data loss and to minimize impact to Maritime Data Platform Services.
