Dear Maritime Data Platform User,

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide quality data and superior products, the Spire Maritime Team have scheduled a maintenance cycle for the Geospatial Web Services (GWS) ; Ship Update Service (SUS) Platform for Wednesday, 30 April 2025. This maintenance process will only pertain to those users that have a legacy account on the Ship Update Service (SUS) Platform and receive GWS data pushed to an SFTP account.

This process will not have any effect on users that directly query the GWS platform using an authorization token. Furthermore, this process will not have any effect on the Latest Vessel Information (LVI) ; Historical Vessel Positions (HVP) nor Historical Vessel Tracks (HVT) layers. There will be no effect on ShipView either.

End: Wednesday, 30 April 2025 15:00 UTC

Please note: The full duration of the maintenance window will be Two (2) hours.

While the maintenance process is underway, the GWS platform will remain online and responsive throughout as the maintenance process will be transparent to all users.

Ship Update Service Platform users will notice a change in the time when data is written to their account, however, the frequency interval of the files being written will remain the same.

All account types will remain accessible and operational during this maintenance process.

All reasonable precautions have been taken to prevent additional data loss and to minimize impact to Maritime Data Platform Services.
