Scheduled
Maritime 2.0 GraphQL API service will be updated to implement a new filter on Vessels query.
This filter lastTimestamp filters vessels by the timestamp of their last AIS messages received.

It will be implemented as a default filter to exclude vessels from query results which have not had an AIS message reported in the last 30 days.

Possible reduced results in some queries.
If you are making queries in graphQL for vessels without a filter on time using either
a) the lastPositionUpdate filter
b) a fixed IMO list
c) a fixed MMSI list
then you may see a reduction in API results as vessels without updates in the last 30 days will no longer be returned without using the new filter lastTimestamp to specifically request vessels with older updates

This filter is documented in more details in the Spire Maritime FAQ here
https://faq.spire.com/maritime-2.0-graphql-lasttimestamp-filter

The switch will be non disruptive to users

Should you however have any concerns about this change, then please raise an issue for support at https://faq.spire.com/support
