Scheduled
To allow Spire Maritime to scale performance of our legacy API products, Vessels API and Messages API, we will be implementing some network changes to add a proxy layer to the service. This will allows us to gradually shift API traffic to different servers.

The Proxy server handling of traffic will be implemented starting 2022-06-20 11:00 UTC.
Following the DNS update, 1% of traffic will shift to new servers.
1 hour later if no problems are observed then 10% of traffic will shift to the new servers
24 hours later if no problems are observed then 100% of API traffic will shift to the new servers

The underlying API service delivering data will not change and API response body will not change.
API requests should continue without error during this maintenance window.

Should you have any concerns about this change, then please raise an issue for support at https://faq.spire.com/support
